Many a argument has gone down in the battle to define good BBQ. North Carolina style will eternally hold first place for me, but when in Miami eat at Pride and Joy. All you have to do is walk around Wynwood mid day to smell the smokers prepping for an evening of delicious pork to be convinced. 

Don't skip on the deviled eggs, they have a pretty portion of pulled pork on top. So freaking good. Sorry no pics of these bad boys I always scarf them down before I remember.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant with some of the best Pizza I've ever had! Argentinian/Italian is how they describe their establishment. There's a beautiful low key outdoor dining terrace that features live music on the weekends. And daily deals that are always rotating. Perfect for the family or a night out with friends. Bonus points from me for always bringing my pup a bowl of water.

This place is for the party goer not interested in "popping bottles" or seeing celebrities. If you just want to dance and party with the locals, this is the place to be. "House in the front, Hip Hop in the back" and there's never a cover. Its literally right across the street from Target in Midtown on the second floor above benchwarmers. The entrance is in the back, so park in the metered parking under the overpass (free after midnight) and walk over. Its owned by the same people as Wood Tavern in Wynwood FYI.

This place is right in the heart of the design district. So if  you're heading Downtown or to Midtown or Wynwood you can make a pit stop for a great dinner or just a couple of drinks. The venue is completely outdoors, and a canopy style roof covers the main dining and bar area. They mix it up with DJ's or a live band in the evenings.  Go check it out. Definitely one of my favorites. I Brought my mom here when she visited back in May and she gave it a thumbs up, so that counts for something :)

It is also connected to a nightclub called GAVANA, which I have not been to yet.... Review coming Soon!

Located in Wynwood, This huge warehouse club is mixing everything in nightlife entertainment. 2 main rooms an outdoor lounge and a crowd that is not afraid to get a little risque. Saturday nights there is a decidedly more LGBT crowd, but this place is all inclusive. Friday’s and Saturday’s Nights Only

This is a Thai food spot under the 50 eggs company's umbrella. One of my favorite places to suggest for happy hour. They have a select happy hour menu where everything is $4 during the 4 o'clock hour, $5 from 5-6, $6 from 6-7 and $7 from 7-8. Food is great. Drinks are great. Ambiance is great.
